Junior High Chess Club

The Lakota Junior Chess Club is now forming for students in grades 7 and 8 who live in the Lakota Local School District. The chess club will meet in the Liberty Junior School Innovation Hub on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays for at least six weeks. 

The chess club includes a tournament with a trophy awarded to the top placers and a medal to all others. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. Register early to save a spot; enrollment may be limited.
